The why behind the product:

When I was diagnosed with Hashimotos Thyroiditis (autoimmune condition of the thyroid) my skin radically changed overnight. My skin went from super oily to Sahara Dessert dry which left my frustrated and confused. This frustration led me back to my books and I began researching every skincare oil out there. This new found knowledge inspired me to begin formulating so I was back in my lab, with my lab coat on, surrounded by plant oils, essential oils, dried herbs, clays and plant goodness. I spent countless nights mixing oils and trying them on my skin as the skincare guinea pig that I am. One of those many night lead to the creation of the Quenched Serum. Remember how I mentioned Dessert Dry Skin well one of the main ingredients in this serum comes from a cactus called Prickly Pear. Prickly Pear Seed Oil is by far the most hydrating oil I have ever come across and the funny thing about this oil is that it grows in the dessert. Who would have known that an ingredient found in the dessert would be the solution to dessert dry skin.
